My mom is in her early 50’s, and she’s a pre-menopause basket case right now. Losing weight has been her goal for several years. She had tried taking diet pills before to suppress the appetite, but it turned out only having unpleasant effects including heart palpitations, restlessness, dizziness, and insomnia. She could not go on extreme dieting and perform regular exercises and workouts because between her job and our family, there’s hardly any spare time.

Mom at Healthy Options - High Street branch

I think a lot of women experience the same problem and hence seek easy and fast lose-weight and fat-burning solutions to achieve the figure they want. To be specific, my mom’s concern is her belly fat. We saw SafSlim at Healthy Options and decided to give it a try. From Instagram:

Review of SafSlim Belly Fat Transformation System

SafSlim is a natural dietary supplement that’s said to help break down the fat particularly in the stomach area.  It is free of dairy, free of gluten, and free of stimulants like caffeine. According to the manufacturer, it is most effective when you follow a reduced-calorie diet that doesn’t contain trans fats, hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup and high glycemic carbohydrates. But finding out whether or not one can expect a slimmer belly requires a lot more than a marketing pitch alone. Clever wordplay and an emphasis on promotion are always a part of products, but what we need is clear evidence and support.

The key ingredient of SafSlim is safflower oil, a substance made from the safflower plant and that has been linked to factors associated with weight loss, improving cardiovascular risk factors and improving cholesterol levels. Another ingredient is Vitamin E, an antioxidant that’s important for normal neurological function (protecting cell membranes from oxidative damage caused by free radicals).

One must take SafSlim for 16 weeks consistently to be able to notice good results. Recommended intake, at the back of the label, is one tablespoon twice a day. We’ll document and share her progress through time. Here are her before and after pictures for now (2 weeks period):

Two weeks ago (taken on May 15, 2017):

Exactly two weeks after (taken on May 29, 2017):

SafSlim is a liquid formula that works by decreasing your appetite, reducing cravings, and improving metabolism. The supplement has a delicious taste (Berry Cream and Tangerine Cream flavors) and sweetened with naturally derived Xylitol, so it can be mixed with juices, shakes, smoothies, yogurt, and other beverages. Mom takes it with Nature’s Plus Thermo Tropic Shake, a meal replacement weight loss system that’s also available at Healthy Options.

We noticed that her belly fat has reduced as well as the fats in her thighs. The difference may not be too significant since it’s been only a fortnight. To follow through her weight loss journey, I already bought a second bottle of SafSlim (Tangerine Cream flavor) for her to take it consistently. Below are more side-by-side comparison of “before and after photos” showing the front, left, and right sides. What do you think?

Wrap Up

After taking SafSlim for about a week, my mom didn’t really have any cravings. She ate healthily, kept a food diary to track her meals, and never went hungry. She lost 2 pounds, which is okay. At this point, I think it’s really important for people who want success to become intentional with dietary decisions, food planning, and determined actions.

SafSlim works but what matters more, in the long term, is making healthier food choices and controlled portions for sustainability. Taking natural weight loss supplements like SafSlim and Nature’s Plus Thermo Tropic Shake won’t make drastic changes quickly. If losing necessary fat takes 2 weeks, 1 month, or even 2 months of time, then that is fine. Lifestyle changes are the hardest to make and they do not happen “just because.” The whole point is to create a realistic plan and strategy to make a healthy lifestyle a priority.

I am struggling with getting rid of my belly fat. After I turned 50 years old, I feel like my body changed and it is getting harder to lose weight. Like your mother, I have cravings for all the foods that are not on the list of healthy choices. I will definitely look into trying Safslim. 🙂

The struggle is real for me! I know I need to get rid of my belly fat but it’s really hard once you hit that 50 mark. I may try SafSlim along with my diet regiment and see if it will help me.

I have been going to the gym for over a month and everything is starting to slim down except for my belly 🙁 I am a stress and a boredom eater so working from home can lead me to the fridge for “keeping me awake” food more often than I like. This seems like something to try.

I was so glad to read that the emphasis was on diet and lifestyle changes, rather than relying on a product. Although it certainly is great if there’s a little something the can help along the way. I’ll have to read more about Safslim x

Sounds like a great product to try. My routine is changing in a few days due to quitting my job. I would lvoe to try something different to get myself motivated for losing weight!

I see the results, although it isn’t a big difference, but there is a visible reduction in belly fat. I would recommend this Safslim to my daughter. Ever since she started to work a sedentary 9-5 job, she gained weight and she is now on a diet and exercise plan to get back in shape. Safslim would help a lot for her to reach her goal.

I have heard so many great things about women loosing weight with supplements. I have to say I am pretty laid back when it comes to exercising and this might be the way to go for me as well.

Your mom looks great. Was wondering if there were any side effects with the safflower like rapid heart beat or jitters are there are with other weight loss supplements?

I love that you said, “I think it’s really important for people who want success to become intentional with dietary decisions, food planning, and determined actions.

SafSlim works but what matters more, in the long term, is making healthier food choices and controlled portions for sustainability.” because that really is what’s important. Changing the way we think about food and being intentional as to what we put into our bodies.

Thanks for sharing this journey with us!

Though men are also to anxious about their belly fat much so in developing or maintaining their perfect abs, women are generally conscious of their protruding belly because of fat. Their figure speaks their peace of mind so to speak. This is good for them I believe.

Those belly fats are really stubborn. I rarely lose them even when I am on intense training. It really helps to work with diet and a product like safslim with the shake. It may not be a quick fix solution but it helps provide you with the right eating habits.

This is something worth trying I think! I’ve also tried slimming pills before and while it worked, it had brought me to the hospital at one point. That was it for me. I’ll check this out at Healthy Options!

There isn’t much visible changes for now, which i guess is good because it was only 2 weeks! Hope the drink is not too sweet! Because if it’s too sweet, it will probably defeat the purpose of trying to be healthy!

This looks like a safer and more natural way to help reduce belly fat. I wonder how much it cost? I might check this out. I`ll keep this in mind when I go to Health Options.
